What you will be doing
To contribute to Client satisfaction by:
o Capturing, formalizing and contracting with stakeholders all the requirements that apply to the system under his/her responsibility as well as the control methods. This includes the requirements applying to his/her system to meet customer product requirements, service, quality, costs, timing, product general safety, reglementation, manufacturing, after-sales, as well as the requirements of his/her system over the other systems interfering
o Defining and managing the system roadmap (family of solutions over time) that enable complete product offering covering, innovation integration while maximizing standardization
To contribute to QCDP Engineering performance by managing global responsibility on the definition, the arbitrage and his or her system integration over the whole product cycle life and projects:
o conceive the generic system off the cycle by optimizing the system QCDP on the component/modules assembly
o contextualize the generic in upstream phase in the respect of QCDP objectives and ensuring proper integration of the innovation up to vehicle pre-contract
o set and allocate system requirements on its components and QCDP responsibility up to mass production/serial life
o implement validation strategy
o by knowledge-building, improve, update and deploy the standard system, metier rules, processes and tools
o engage functionally the actors contributing to his or her system (system functions leaders, Components leaders, Engineering leader system, electricity & electronics system architect)
o take into consideration intellectual property by all appropriate means (patent, co-innovation contracts )
To contribute to the acceptability of the automobile products of the Company in view of International regulations of the General Product Safety by creating the standard that demonstrates safety risk management and by being responsible of the General Product Safety files for each system variante developed
Main indicators and deliverables:
• Deliverables: Roadmap of the system family, System Packaging file, System Technical Requirements (STR), general validation plan of the system, logical development of the system, documentary management of the system data, valorisation forms documentation” for the functions delivered by the system, EICps Management File (EICps : potential safety feared event)
• Indicators: Cost KPI, Quality KPI, Deadline KPI
• Unifying 8processes: Design and validate the systems
What we’re looking for
Bachelor's or equivalent in the engineering field: Automotive, Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computers, Electronics
At least 7 years experience in PWT Tuning experience and/or PWT SW
Very good understanding of Hybrids powertrains operation and their control systems (ICE: torque structure, Hybrids: torque management, energy management)
Technical skills and experience needed for this job:
o System architecture definition: Components, modules
o System requirements definition
o Embedded SW architecture
o Validation methods for new functions
