Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents. This role is employed by Horse Powertrain Ltd and is based at head office in London, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will be doing

• Is responsible for carrying out the validation tests assigned to it: Drafting the necessary documents to specify the tests, monitoring the tests closely, and providing assistance with any incidents that may arise.

• Ensures that the validation standards are applied: Verifying that the control parameters are correct at the beginning of the test and throughout its development.

• Summarise all the results of his validation activity including the analysis of the components of the powertrain under his responsibility. Also ensuring that the experts or the suppliers of certain components carry out their corresponding analyses.

• Produce the synthase validation file with the support of the Powertrain Specialist.

• Analyse the incidents, breakdowns, or failures that occurred during testing or after-sales.

• Determine the root causes following the analysis and reproduce the defect if necessary through the performance of specific tests or the construction of suitable test specimens.

• Produce and distribute an analysis report and capitalize on the analyses advising design teams on the modifications to introduce to ensure reliability.

What we’re looking for

• Mechanical, energy or general engineer. Msc in automotive, energy or mechanical

  Other specific training in ICE engines or automotive will be positively valued.

• Preferred experience in Testing and Data analyse. Minimum 1 year.

• Deep technical knowledge of propulsion components in automotive and particularly in ICE engines.

• Excellent command of English and knowledge of French will be valued.
