What you will be doing
Support HORSE sites in obtaining and maintaining the RHP label, including audit planning, follow‑up, recommendations, and investment guidance.
Define and validate fire and explosion prevention/protection measures for industrial and capability projects, from scoping and costing to technical approval and facility acceptance.
Assess industrial (fire/explosion) and natural risks across factories, logistics, offices, and engineering sites in line with current regulations and standards.
Provide technical expertise and support to sites, including validation of risk studies (fire, ATEX, hazard studies) to reduce site vulnerability.
Drive and continuously improve HSS governance through site visits, audits, and technical communities.
Develop, write, and deploy global technical policies, standards, and regulations related to industrial risk prevention.
Participate in internal audits, training activities, cost control, and the deployment of the Global Security function.
What we’re looking for
A proven track record of leading industrial fire and explosion risk assessments and supporting audit and certification processes (e.g. RHP, NFPA, ATEX) across multiple industrial sites.
University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Safety Engineering or equivalent).
Outstanding communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to interact credibly with plant management, insurers, auditors, and certification bodies.
Strong technical and negotiation skills, coupled with a collaborative mindset and the ability to balance risk prevention, operational constraints, and business priorities.
Knowledge of the automotive and industrial manufacturing environment is an advantage, as well as an understanding of Horse Powertrain’s business and its global safety ambitions.
Excellent written and spoken English; working knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage.
