Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Mioveni, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What we’re looking for

Student in computer science, telecommunications or a related field.

The ability to understand the functional supply chain processes of clients, their needs and expectations and to translate them into IT commitments and contributions.

General knowledge about IT infrastructures and mobile equipment.

Personal skills: curiosity in the digital field, initiative and positive spirit, team spirit, listening and communication, comfortable with sharing and transferring knowledge to others, rigorous and attentive to details.

Customer orientation, communication ability and transversal work in an international environment,

Foreign languages: English, (French and / or Spanish represent an advantage),

Knowledge about network equipment and servers is a plus.

What will you do

Practice and promote Agility.

Support the customer during the product definition phase to maximize product value.

Coordinates the choice of solution (software package, specific development) according to IS IT Horse architecture rules.

Hardware and Software Procurement-maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, printers & phones.

Documentation and Reporting-maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.

Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity, and security.

Technical Support-provide second-level technical support to resolve complex issues escalated from the helpdesk.

IS Tools-implement system monitoring tools and configure alerts for proactive issue identification.
