This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do
Handle requests for transportation quotes, perform TDC (Total Delivery Cost) analysis of bids, and synthesize results to select the best option.
Organize short‑ to mid‑term transports and monitor execution to ensure optimal performance.
Act as a link between transport engineering and operations, ensuring smooth project handovers.
Analyze the medium‑term evolution of plant supply transport needs (8‑week horizon).
Optimize scheduled and unscheduled transport requirements in the short‑ and mid‑term.
Build transport schedules that meet cost, time, and quality objectives for each scope.
Develop transport plans aligned with plant activity (e.g., ~85% programming rate).
Create transport documentation for new project deployments or when onboarding new suppliers or customer plants.
What we’re looking for
A proven track record in transportation management and short-/mid-term transport planning.
A higher technical degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
Excellent skills in transport cost analysis (TDC) and problem‑solving in operational environments.
Strong competencies in communication and cross‑functional collaboration, with a proactive approach.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and transportation management systems (TMS/SAP) is valuable.
Knowledge of the automotive sector and its transport challenges is a strong plus.
Excellent command of English (minimum B2); French is valued depending on the plant and scope.
