This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Titu, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What we’re looking for
Graduate of higher education with a technical profile (preferably majoring in Road Vehicles, Transport, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics).
General knowledge in the automotive field, engines and gearboxes (processes and characteristics of internal combustion engines/ calculation and construction of internal combustion engines).
Basic knowledge of control systems and electrical components (sensors and actuators).
Knowledge of the Simulink/ Matlab library (understanding of Simulink blocks), is an advantage.
Experience in carrying out tests and experiments using dual scan, thermoscan, ETAS, MDA/Inca.
Language skills: English (intermediate/advanced level) or French (intermediate/advanced level).
Driving license.
Communication, teamwork and transversal skills; structured thinking, ability to analyze and synthesize.
What will you do
Calibration of spark ignition engines (modification of parameters: ignition advance, injection times, supercharging pressure, etc.) and automatic gearboxes (construction of gear change laws, etc.).
Use of the engine bench, roller bench and CTT tracks (Titu Technical Center) to carry out engine calibration.
Contributes, together with the software team, to the modification of the engine control software.
Calibration is carried out to comply with the specifications (performance, driving pleasure, starting, pollutant emissions).
Making professional trips with test vehicles in different locations (Rânca-Romania, Granada-Spain, Kiruna-Sweden, etc.).
Develops the test/validation plan and prepares the related reports.
