Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Shape and Innovate: Understand our hybrid engine positioning and drive emissions and fuel efficiency advancements.
• Achieve Excellence: Contribute to quality, cost, and schedule targets while formalizing essential processes.
• Develop Tools: Create and utilize cutting-edge calculation and measurement tools.
• Support and Resolve: Assist Customer Performance Pilots with documents, tools, and problem-solving.
• Communicate Progress: Share development updates and collaborate on innovative solutions.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record of 3 years in calibration or analysis of perimeter emission and/or efficiency of hybrid engines.
• Industrial or Mechanical or Chemical Engineer. (Master's degree in efficiency/emissions of hybrid engines (environment/decontamination) will be highly valued.
• Excellent skills in analysis and/or realization of emission/efficiency testing of hybrid engines.
• Strong competencies in eager to learn and progress, professionalism and thoroughness, taste for a job well done, high degree of autonomy and initiative and teamwork, with a collaborative approach
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written;
