About Horse Technologies

Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Create a mock-up workshop from scratch, defining job profiles and working procedures.

• Propose demonstrator build-up plans based on new business requirements.

• Prepare quotations for each demonstrator within time and budget constraints.

• Manage a qualified team to execute demonstrator builds on schedule and within budget.

• Oversee in-house and outsourced activities for demonstrator projects.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workshop.

• Collaborate with global testing, design, tuning, and project teams to guarantee quality and deadlines.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in SWAP workshop management and prototype or competition workshop leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; Master’s in Automotive preferred.

• Excellent skills in project management and powertrain technologies.

• Strong competencies in decision-making and team leadership, with a collaborative approach

• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.

• Excellent command of English and Spanish, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
