Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

1) TEI, regulation and technical regulation.

2) Manage the activities under its perimeter to achieve the goals for project milestones.

3) Assure the coherency between the technical definition and the economical constraint of the project.

4) Align the actions of the team members with the enterprise strategy.

5) Develop the performance of the team members and give any necessary responsibility.

6) Ensure reporting on the subjects for which you will be responsible to the various internal and external contacts within Management.

7) Give and present the deliverables: numbering TEI, affectation of suppliers, opinion about the proposed technical definition, planning, resources (ETP, test means), EQM, checklist, NRL, industrialized calibration/SW.

What we’re looking for

-A proven track record in PWT Tuning experience > 5 years and/or PWT SW / System > 5 years

-Engineering degree (Master in Mechanical Engineering or related preferred).

-Very good understanding of powertrains operation and their control systems

-Technical skills and experience needed for this job:

o Tuning for PWT

o System architecture definition: Components, modules

o System requirements definition

o Embedded SW architecture

o Validation methods for new functions

o Safety reglamentation
