Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Write and manage the software development plan in line with HORSE standards and ECU supplier requirements.

• Define software content and configuration according to functional expectations and project needs.

• Coordinate interactions between HORSE strategies and ECU supplier basic software.

• Ensure coherence between software roadmap and ECU performance metrics (CPU load, memory usage).

• Manage software validation activities, including HIL environment development and validation plans.

• Monitor progress and provide milestone reports to SPL.

• Identify and resolve technical issues during development, ensuring quality and compliance.

• Deliver efficient reporting through software dashboards and status updates.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in software development for embedded systems and project coordination.

• Engineering degree (preferably Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering).

• Excellent skills in software validation and technical analysis.

• Strong competencies in problem-solving and communication, with a collaborative approach.

• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
