This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do
- Act as the global technical reference for sand core making processes within HORSE Technologies.
- Define and validate core making processes for new aluminum casting parts.
Develop, review, and deploy process standards, best practices, and technical specifications. - Support global manufacturing sites and casting suppliers to achieve QCD targets.
- Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis for core-related defects
- Drive innovation projects in core making technologies (e.g., inorganic binders, automation).
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure product-process compatibility.
- Conduct feasibility studies (technical and economic) for core design and manufacturing.
What we’re looking for
- A proven track record in sand core making processes and industrialization of casting parts.
- A university degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
- Excellent skills in problem-solving and technical project management.
- Strong competencies in process standardization and cross-functional coordination, with a collaborative approach.
- Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Spanish or French will be valued.
