Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid (Spain) , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Integrate into the Powertrain Development Team and assigned projects, contributing to innovative solutions.
• Propose settings that ensure compliance with client specifications, enhancing product performance.
• Participate in the development of new engine control software strategies to continuously improve our products.
• Instrument vehicles for validation, including calibration load, installation of bursting boxes, and inter-system configuration.
• Ensure consistency of the validation plan with the calibrated system's technical documentation.
• Build and manage the validation development schedule for each application, coordinating with related sectors.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in control system validation and engine calibration.
• Engineering Degree in Electronics, Aeronautics, or Telecommunications.
• Excellent skills in CAN network analysis and tools such as Canalyzer, Canoe, and CAPL.
• Strong competencies in autonomy and proactive problem-solving, with a collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French is appreciated.
