This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do
- Lead the convergence of key performance indicators (emissions, fuel efficiency, drivability, torque/power, NVH) in hybrid powertrain projects.
- Define and deploy performance strategies aligned with customer expectations and project roadmaps.
- Translate customer objectives into technical performance targets for the propulsion system.
- Build and manage technical performance contracts with specialized teams, ensuring coherence and cost/value balance.
- Conduct simulation activities and analyze results related to efficiency, performance, and NVH.
- Draft and validate performance status at key project milestones.
- Represent the Customer Performance department in high-level internal and customer arbitration meetings, providing technical input for decision-making.
- Animate internal meetings with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and progress.
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, with strong knowledge of thermal engine operation.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the automotive sector, ideally in powertrain performance convergence, calibration, or mechanical component design.
- Proficiency in simulation and calibration tools (e.g., AVL Cruise M, GT-Suite, INCA, Concerto).
- Strong organizational and synthesis skills, with a global vision of project dynamics.
- Ability to lead transversal teams and manage cross-functional activities.
- Passion for automotive mechanics and a hands-on mindset.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French and Spanish are a plus.
