Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Titu , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What we’re looking for

- Graduate of higher education with a technical profile (Transport, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics);

- General knowledge in the automotive field, engines and gearboxes (processes and characteristics of internal combustion engines/ calculation and construction of internal combustion engines);

- Basic knowledge of control systems and electrical components (sensors and actuators); 

- Language skills: English or French; 

- Driving license;

What you will do

Carries out activities of adaptation, configuration, development, testing, implementation, integration of solutions for tuning systems related to torque monitoring (Safety / VDA4) , software associated with all services specific to the automotive field (for example, entertainment driving, engine performance, engine response behavior, etc.).

In carrying out his activity, the job is based on skills, competences, abilities and specific technical knowledge in the field of software technology. 

At the same time proving analytical spirit, rigor, attention to details and responsibility in complying with technical and professional standards.

Validates any technical solutions proposed by the work team , and, ensures the return of experience to the team of professional experts and proposes changes to professional standards and the development process.
