This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Aveiro, Portugal, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

· Evaluation of the static and dynamic demerit of the PEB & E-motor in series and project

· Track PEB&E-motor defects resulting from vehicle production plant or field claims

· Ensure level 1 and Level 2 diagnosis of PEB&E-motor incidents

· Ensure acquisitions to determine the root cause of incidents (NC or conception problems)

· Ensure communication with plateau team (daily) and Product/Projects teams

· Capitalisation of diagnosis method (failure tree also as previous analysis results)

What we’re looking for

· Graduate with a technical profile (preferably automotive, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics) – Mandatory (or proven experience in Electrotechnics)

· Language skills: English B2 / French B2

· Available to technical visits at customer

· Know the PEB&E-motor products / process

· Understand the vehicle architecture including hardware and inter-system interactions

· Know the vehicle plant process and especially the STAT1/STAT2/DYN phases

· Master the DDT tool: defect detection, erasing defects, flash, reading/sending of DID for configuration etc.

· Master the CANalyser tool: be able to perform CAN acquisitions, analyse them, convert files

· Master the New Dialogys tool: be able to consult the defect records, SW references, DFSs etc.
