This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Aveiro, Portugal , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do
- Ensure the application of construction and environmental safety standards for assembly line
- Privilege good technical relationships with suppliers within its perimeter of responsibility
- Ensure good physical reception and equipment integration
- Ensure that the purchased media achieves the defined performances
- Formalize technical RFQ and organize technical proposals with the Purchasing Department
- Analyze the technical relevance of proposals in collaboration with the Métier Technology Specialists
- Support the Purchasing Department for commercial negotiation
- Pilot the equipment integration in the assembly line or plant
- Ensure the test, the start-up and the ram-up of the equipement
- Ensure the integration of a product into an industrial process including assembly line/tightening part/tools/Vision
- Ensure integration of new vision control or integration of a new product/defect in a vision installation expected competencies:
- IA vision
- COGNEX Camera
- Vision capabilities
- Ensure communication with Software&tuning team and projects teams expected competencies:
- Master the DDT tool: defect detection, erasing defects, flash, reading/sending of DID for configuration etc.
- Master the CANalyser tool: be able to perform CAN acquisitions, analyze them, convert files
- Master the construction of diagnostics: know how to make the link between a DTC, its associated label and its construction method
What we’re looking for
- Graduate with a technical profile (preferably specializing in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics).
- Language skills: English advanced level
