Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Aveiro, Portugal, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• End-to-End Project Management: Develop comprehensive project plans and execute initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring full lifecycle management. Create and track key milestones, proactively identify and resolve issues, and drive project success.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Define industrial project scope, timelines, and budgets using standardized methodologies. Monitor project progress through advanced analytics and KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
• Innovation & Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that drive business value.
• Resource Coordination & Communication: Effectively coordinate global resources to align project execution with strategic planning. Communicate project scope, timelines, and priorities clearly to engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliver regular progress updates to key stakeholders and leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process optimization and operational excellence.
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Quality, Cost, Time, HR, and Safety/Environment objectives throughout all project phases.

What we’re looking for:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams in complex environments

Technical Competencies:

• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong project management expertise in international, multi-cultural environments
• Deep knowledge of the automotive sector and Horse Powertrain business
• Understanding of powertrain conception, tuning, and transmission global functions
• Collaborative approach to project delivery

Language Requirements:

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
