The Industrial Liquids & Centralized Utilities Manager is responsible for driving a global vision across their scope, from the project phase—working closely with PE teams, production plants, and other stakeholders—through efficient series-life operation, to fostering innovation and process improvements.
What you will do
- Global Management of Industrial Liquids & Centralized Utilities Contracts: Coordinate with client plants to draft and review scopes of work and participate in maintenance contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Cross-Functional Leadership of Industrial Liquids & Centralized Utilities: Establish, measure, and track performance KPIs (ETP, costs, reliability, etc.) to maximize function effectiveness. Drive the sharing of best practices across plants and R&D centers to improve performance and standardization (Industrial Liquids & Centralized Utilities Community of Practice).
- Global Management of Centralized Utilities Obsolescence: Evaluate lifecycle stages of equipment, tools, and maintenance systems using specific indicators.
- Involvement in Project Definitions of Liquids & Centralized Utilities: Collaborate with Corporate PE teams and factory project managers to define three-year capacities for centralized systems and necessary project-phase investments.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or higher technical degree related to maintenance or centralized utilities (Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering).
- Postgraduate training in project management, operations management, or a related field is a plus.
- Over 15 years in industrial environments (production, maintenance) within complex settings (multinationals, multisite, etc.), including at least 7 years in direct maintenance management.
- Minimum of 5 years managing maintenance or operations of centralized utilities (compressed air, filtration centers, heating/cooling production facilities, etc.).
- Proven track record leading multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams in an international context.
- Very high level of spoken and written English. Knowledge of at least other two languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Romanian) is valued.
- In-depth understanding of centralized utilities systems (filtration, heating/cooling production, air compression, electrical distribution networks, etc.).
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for centralized utilities maintenance.
- Extensive expertise in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency with maintenance management tools and software (SAP S/4HANA, CMMS, ERP, etc.).
- Knowledge of occupational safety and environmental standards.
- Financial analysis and budget management skills.
