What you will do
- Manage and coordinate customs compliance processes: Ensure adherence to current customs regulations and maintain the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification status across all entities.
- Act as the legal point of contact for customs matters: Provide support on legal issues related to customs, including contracts, written statements, and procedures.
- Perform annual customs audits: Conduct audits for each entity to identify potential non-compliance and implement mitigation actions.
- Establish and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics: Define and track KPIs to ensure customs processes are efficient and effective.
- Assist in global customs engineering projects: Support various customs projects, such as the RO Project or ILN Service Mode.
- Manage customs-related risks: Evaluate and monitor identified risks, define mitigation actions, and oversee their implementation.
- Stay updated on customs regulations: Continuously monitor regulatory changes that may impact the organization and ensure compliance.
What we are looking for
- University degree in Law, Customs & Trade, International Business, or related fields.
- More than 5 years of experience in customs clearance procedures, including maintaining relationships with customs authorities, tracking requirements and audits, drafting documents, customs declarations, and authorization requests.
- Strong legal foundation.
- Experience with clients and suppliers, ensuring goods comply with regulations and are managed correctly.
- Fluency in English.
