The Engineering Controlling Manager has the responsibility of R&D Engineering performance monitoring within 3 axes: Functions (Métiers), Projects, IS/IT. Reports to the Global Controlling Director.
What you will do
Product and Process Engineering Controlling
- Animation within Horse (meetings, reports, methods, processes, tools)
- Implementation of Delegation of Authorities (DOA)
- Internal control and periodic assessment of effectiveness
- Ensuring robustness, integrity, and completeness of economic information
- Compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
Performance Management
- Projects performance management
- Optimizing performance of Entry Ticket of PWT projects (engineering entry ticket, capital expenditures, supplier entry ticket, pre-act costs)
- Monitoring ET preparation for decision meetings
- Leading Engineering Controlling Budget & Reforecast process
- Defining reports to meet objectives
- Setting up annual budget for Product and Process Engineering R&D costs
- Monitoring follow-up (plan, budget, forecast, actual)
- Monitoring convergence process
- Analyzing actual results, regular meetings, and reporting
- Ensuring follow-up of invoices for projects with partners
- Participating in CVC (Comité de variation de charges) engineering entry ticket process
- Optimizing and monitoring entrance gate prioritization process
- Verifying project coherence with plans and budgets
- Contributing to preparation of SOW (statement of work) with subsidiaries and partners
- Controlling compliance and advising for decisions
Risk Management
- Being a business partner to optimize economic performance of Engineering (Product & Process)
- Providing reliable economic data and relevant analysis to operational managers
- Suggesting and supporting action plans for operational managers
- Ensuring knowledge and skills of Engineering Controllers of Horse Holding and subsidiaries
Team Management
- Creating sustainable performance through team motivation and skills
- Developing team spirit
What we are looking for
- Bachelor/Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance or similar.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in Controlling o/w 5 years in the Engineering controlling
- Accounting knowledge
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Critical thinking
- Ability to deliver presentations to different types of audiences
- Capacity to move in a complex environment of project management
- Capacity to participate in performance & control structure implementation & development
- Full professional proficiency in English, required.
