The Engineering Architect for HORSE will be responsible for the design and implementation of HORSE overall IS-IT architecture. This includes the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and application architecture, as well as ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

He/she should has excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills, a strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

He/she ensures IT Strategy, supporting the digital transformation of the company.

He/she will play a critical role in driving HORSE's overall business success through effective use of technology and data.

He/she is a strategic partner and reports to the HORSE Global Architect & Data Director

What you will do

Business IT Strategy:

• Define and support the Engineering architecture strategy, including the Horse Reference Architecture and applications roadmap.
• Ensure IT architecture aligns with HORSE’s business strategy and goals.
• Understand business functions and IT processes, suggesting improvements.
• Translate business requirements into functional system specifications.
• Create business architecture models to reflect HORSE’s strategy and goals.
• Support the Data Model definition and integration of HORSE’s DASSAULT landscape.
• Implement the overall IT architecture strategy, collaborating with the Global Architect Director.

Solution Delivery:

• Provide technical guidance on the design and development of solutions and services.
• Document and support the DASSAULT Standard First strategy.
• Develop and maintain best practices for solution design and delivery.
• Design DASSAULT application and integration architecture solutions.
• Review user stories and inform teams about related initiatives.
• Translate user requirements into Horse's reference architecture.
• Communicate IT architecture and data strategy to stakeholders.
• Maintain updated DASSAULT architecture documentation.
• Support the design of integration services (API first approach).
• Identify and manage IT architecture risks and issues.
• Support IS/IT teams during audits.

Technology Scouting:

• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the IT architecture.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a DASSAULT Architect or similar role.
• Strong technical background in IT technologies, including infrastructure, applications, data, and integration.
• Experience in complex, multi-country, multi-cultural environments.
• Extensive experience in migration projects and rolling out DASSAULT.
• Strong data-oriented mindset and experience with ERPs like SAP.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to align IT architecture with business strategy.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with TOGAF framework.
