The BI & Reporting Lead for HORSE will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall Business Intelligence & Reporting strategy within the organization. This role focuses on developing and maintaining reporting frameworks, data visualization solutions, and analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making. It ensures data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility while aligning with business objectives and performance goals.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in BI tools, data analytics, and reporting methodologies, combined with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. This role requires the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into actionable insights, and enhance reporting capabilities to support strategic initiatives.

The BI & Reporting Lead plays a key role in optimizing business performance through effective reporting solutions and digital transformation efforts. They act as a strategic partner within the organization and report directly to the HORSE Global Architect & Data Director.

What you will do

Business IT Strategy:

• Define and support the Data Strategy roadmap to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Align BI & Reporting with overall business strategy and objectives.
• Standardize and optimize data processes to ensure data democratization across teams.
• Develop and implement BI models to support strategic goals and decision-making.
• Identify and integrate data sources, ensuring consistency with the organizational data strategy.
• Collaborate with the Global Engineering Director to optimize infrastructure, applications, and data security.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights, driving business intelligence initiatives.

Solution Delivery:

• Develop and implement BI & Reporting solutions aligned with business needs.
• Design and develop BI frameworks based on business analysis.
• Provide technical guidance on BI solution design and implementation.
• Establish best practices for BI solution design and data visualization.
• Oversee data governance, including modeling, storage, security, and integration.
• Communicate BI strategies to stakeholders and maintain updated BI documentation.
• Support data integration efforts and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Manage the reporting data lifecycle and oversee data migration projects.

Technology Scouting:

• Stay updated with emerging BI & analytics technologies and trends.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative BI tools and methodologies.
• Assess advancements in data analytics, automation, and AI-driven reporting.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to explore new technologies aligning with BI & reporting strategy.

• Expertise in data migration and major ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft).
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
