What you will do

 This position requires close collaboration with engineers, designers, and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of parts and services. 

• Responsible for purchasing materials, components, and services required for the creation of prototypes. 

• Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure the best quality and cost efficiency.

• Manage the logistics of prototype materials, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source suppliers for raw materials, components, and services required for prototypes.

• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with vendors and suppliers. 

• Work within budget constraints, analysing costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. 

• Work closely with product development, engineering, and design teams to understand prototype needs and adjust procurement strategies accordingly. 

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering. 

• From 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of direct procurement, preferable in the automotive industry. 

• Proficiency in written and spoken Business English, any other language is nice to have.

• Knowledge of procurement systems, MS Office and cost analysis tools.

• Knowledge of regional global market dynamics. 

• Solution oriented person. 

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
