We are looking for a candidate to manage drivability and torque/power requirements for a diesel powertrain, including creating specifications, managing project convergence, and overseeing validation processes.
What you will do
- Quality, Cost, and Time Management: Manages the convergence of the perimeter in terms of quality, cost, and time.
- Validation Plan Development: Develops validation plans adapted to each project's complexity.
- Performance Definition: Defines achievable performance levels for the project with a given propulsion system and vehicle.
- Testing and Trials: Conducts or requests necessary tests and trials to quantify the achievement of objectives.
- Defect and Improvement Synthesis: Synthesizes defects and necessary improvements, prioritizing them by importance.
- Customer and Engineering Representation: Represents the perimeter to the customer and the engineering team, managing serious defect resolutions and providing subjective opinions through tests in various conditions.
What we are looking for
- Seniority: Minimum 2 to 4 years of professional development in tasks related to calibration of drivability and/or engine torque/power.
- Experience: From 2 to 4 years in calibration work on the relevant perimeter, with preferred experience of more than 5 years in the automotive sector performing calibration tasks of engine control units, participating in work missions/verification of engine operation, and being responsible for a perimeter of engine calibration.
- Education: Industrial or Mechanical Engineer, preferably with a Master's degree in racing vehicles or driving/piloting courses on tracks/races.
- Languages: High level of spoken and written English; French is an important asset.
