As an Upstream Project Lead you will be responsible of completing the innovation project(s), in line with the R&AE process and performance objectives, budgets and lead times. You will also be responsible for overseeing and guiding engineering projects (hybrid system) related to the upstream sector of powertrain products (engine and gearbox).
What you will do
- Project Management: Lead planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet specifications. Coordinate with stakeholders and mitigate risks.
- Engineering Design and Execution: Provide leadership in design and development, ensuring technical soundness and compliance with standards.
- Resource Management: Manage project resources, allocate tasks, and ensure team members have necessary skills and training.
- Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Communication: Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, prepare and deliver updates, and ensure effective team communication.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Problem Solving: Lead troubleshooting efforts and collaborate on innovative solutions.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance to meet engineering standards.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering
- At least 7 years of experience managing projects in hybrid system.
- Previous experience with engines at TierOne companies of the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of upstream engineering operations and design.
- Previous experience leading or managing a team.
- Analytical thinking; Data interpretation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with engineering and project management software.
