What you will do
- Improvement of technical and economic performance of assembly: Defines and improves technical standards, participates in the preparation and application of development plans for innovations, and coordinates international references to capitalize on their feedback.
- Development of innovative technological solutions: Prepares the preliminary phases of new projects and collaborates with the preliminary projects department to identify and pre-develop innovative technologies. Analyzes competition and conducts technological surveillance, organizing meetings with suppliers.
- Support for project development teams: Provides standards in the field of assembly, assists system design and validation teams, and creates development files on innovations. Performs, analyzes, and summarizes calculations within the perimeter.
- Pilot the validation plan: Defines the necessary tests for the validation of assemblies with the support of experts, builds a schedule according to the availability of parts and project milestones, and synthesizes test results, presenting them to the project.
- Contribution to serial life activities: Proposes economic solutions in collaboration with the strategy manager, ensures the capitalization of solutions in standards, and participates in supplier audits.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following fields: assembly, mechanical functional analysis, mechanical testing and/or machine design.
- Training abroad or specific masters in mechanics and/or machine design will be an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in mechanics.
- Solid knowledge in general mechanics, including assemblies, machine calculation and design, thermomechanics, vibrations, dynamics, and materials.
- Competencies in piloting and in internal combustion engines, gearboxes, electric motors, and batteries.
- Fluent in English. Ability to report and communicate in a fully English-speaking work environment.
- Willingness to learn, innovate, and communicate effectively, with the ability to synthesize results and information.
