What you will do

Main responsibilities: 

• To lead and coordinate all the stakeholders (Engineering teams, Purchasing, Engineering partners) and all the activities related to the deployment and achievement of the global Technology outsourcing strategy.

• To contribute to the overall engineering outsourcing efficiency by implementing a sustainable and competitive outsourcing, by: 

• Ensuring the performance of outsourcing services renewal strategy with Purchasing division, in compliance with the engineering mid-term plan portfolio.
• Leading the various stages of this Outsourcing process.
• Setting up with the management line the worldwide outsourcing supplier panel, able to deliver engineering services compatible with Horse requirements and standards. 
• Building and managing the necessary outsourcing strategies to enhance economic performance. 
• Broadcast the rules regarding the outsourcing services and managing communication between the different stakeholders / departments. 
• Leading the yearly supplier’s performance reviews, with Purchasing and Engineering managers.
• Defining, adapting, and organizing the deployment of trainings related to outsourcing activities.

Main deliverables & dashboards: 

• Deliverables: Technology global outsourcing strategy, Engineering Sourcing Plans, Outsourcing Committees instructions, Training supports. 

• Dashboards: % on the total outsourcing volume in line with the Mid-Term Plan objectives, global engineering outsourcing activities versus available budget Key cooperations: 

• Worldwide Engineering Divisions.

• Purchasing for panel and economic performance issues.

• Finances.

• Legal Division.

• Site Management.

• IT/IS Division.

What we are looking for

• Prior knowledge in working with engineering outsourcing partners.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Powertrain (Automotive) engineering domain – main functions, challenges & stakes.

• Transversal project management 

Language:

• English – advanced level 

Personal / Professional skills: 

• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. 

• Demonstrated credibility among the overall entity (especially management).

• Lean communication.

• Ability to facilitate decision-making. 

• Possession of rigor and organizational working ability. 

• Support the entity’s commitments.

• Capacity of quickly alerting in case of blocking point.
