The Cost Performance Engineer contributes to the economic performance of an Organ by ensuring the monitoring and coordination of the various Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) items in the project phase or during serial life.
What you will do
- Lead the convergence of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) with different business departments by providing necessary analyses and summaries for managing economic performance in both project and serial life phases.
- Provide critical insights and propose areas for improvement to achieve economic targets, utilizing comparative analyses (benchmarks) and business roadmaps.
- Propose the allocation of performance objectives based on assessed potential within the scope of responsibility.
- Build economic files to arbitrate the choice of different solutions and lead the construction of forecast phases of COGS (medium-term plans, budget, annual forecasts).
- Carry out summaries and reporting of COGS at the level of Organs and transversal objects, ensuring consistency and robustness of reported data.
- Manage and organize the activities related to COGS in compliance with project milestones, documenting the cost aspects of project and series life milestones.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in cost control in the industrial sector, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Experience in engineering projects with an economic perspective and in multinational environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze, quantify, and synthesize data.
- Mastery of IT and office tools, particularly Excel and SAP.
- Technical knowledge of industrial technologies and manufacturing processes, with an interest in economic and business issues.
- Advanced level of English.
