Transversal Management Missions :

To create sustainable performance for the Company relying on team’s motivation :

• Company scope : HORSE, OEM’s (Renault, Nissan, MBAG,..), Partnerships
• Geographical scope: Worldwide
• Technical scope: Applications for a specific engine family and PWT synthesis associated to the projects he(she) is in charge
• Duration scope: From design freeze to start of production
• Key decision meetings: RAP P1, P2 and P3, design review, meetings with IGM and Serial life IST
• Detailed Missions

Development and Industrialization:

• Project Manager will coordinate the Engineering, purchasing, process and development activities linked to its applications perimeter

• Pilots the QDCP convergence of projects
• Coordinates RAP (Review Advance Project) meetings, defines the Agenda, chairman of the RAP P3 meetings and delivers the RAP meeting minutes
• Coordinates serial life evolutions with project new developments, participating to Comodif when needed
• Assures the promotion of the engines towards Marketing functions
• Assures the list of elements not concluded at the end of the project phase (Start of production) assuring the synchronization with serial life activities which will take over after SOP

Quality :

• Participates into quality reviews in order to assure the frame letter explanation and success conditions of each project application
• Assures the follow-up of actions plans at every milestone with Quality engineer collaboration
• Generates the risk analysis at every review of the project. This will lead to identify the needed actions to prevent any deviation from applications QCP commitments
• Assures the organization and structure on the different industrial sites linked to the critical start of production phases

Cost :

• Linked to business costing unit, project manager will analyze and survey the price evolution of the power unit in development
• Contributes to the optimization of the Engineering entry tickets, selling costs, investments of external and internal produced parts and the control of the parts diversity of the engine.
• Constructs the technical and economical synthesis QCP linked to every project framing evolution or product evolution due to risk analysis
• Constructs the framing and value of the Engineering Entry ticket for validated clients demands
• Coordinates and optimizes the prototypes needs in order to avoid any deviation to the budget allowed to every project application

Planning :

• Collaborates with IPP (Planning Engineer), applications master planning is constructed in coherency with vehicle client planning
• Vigilance over any planning evolution or demand that could modify the initial framing of the powertrain planning
• Assures the coherency with detailed planning level coming from every division (H-DESIGN, H-TUNING., H-PROTOS, H-PROCESS,…)
• Participation to the client review of vehicle disponibility to assure projects activity synchronization
