Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Analyze medium-term transport needs (around 8 weeks) and optimize scheduled and unscheduled requirements.

• Build and adjust transport plans and schedules to meet cost, time, and quality objectives aligned with plant activity.

• Coordinate with carriers, inbound performance managers, and destination plants to ensure smooth operations.

• Implement and communicate Exceptional Transport Plans (ETPs) and partial plans for specific plant activities (e.g., reduced rates, shutdowns).

• Manage urgent transports and resolve operational issues quickly, following escalation processes and maintaining communication with factories.

What we're looking for

• A higher technical degree in Supply Chain, with certifications in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain management as a plus.

• Relevant experience in transportation management or a related field (minimum 1 year), with knowledge of supply chain processes and familiarity with TMS/SAP systems.

• Solid understanding of transportation regulations, compliance standards, and international shipping requirements; automotive industry experience will be highly valued.

• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and responsiveness to operational issues, combined with the ability to work under pressure and maintain self-control.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, team spirit, and capacity to thrive in an international and multicultural environment.

• Good command of English (minimum B2); French will be considered an asset.
