What you will do

Mission: What you will do…

o Analyze the evolution of the needs of the plant supply transport over the medium term (8 weeks).

o Optimizing the means of transport programmed in the short-mid-term.

o Perform optimization of unscheduled requirements and analyze them to integrate into programming.

o Build transport schedules that meet the cost, time and quality objectives of each studied scope.

o Develop a transport plan with capacity consistent with plant activity (programming rate of about 85%).

o Set up transport documentation when starting a new project or when deploying our information systems to a new supplier or customer plant.

o Contribute to the relationship between the carrier, the inbound Performance Manager and the transport destination plant.

o Build, implement and disseminate ETPs (Exceptional Transport Plans related to periods not rolled)

o Build, implement and disseminate partial transport plans that respond to a particular activity of the plant (days not worked on a plant, week at reduced rate, plant shutdown).

o Provides analysis, processing and response to first-level support questions for operations from factories, transporters, suppliers and standard packaging management team.

o Ensure in turn the on-call transport operations outside the standard hours of the operations teams.

o Adjust the transport plan according to customer needs not taken into account by the scheduled transport: cancel or charter transport to meet deviations from the forecast plan.

o Set up and manage urgent transports (troubleshooting).

o Monitor and treat transport problems impacting supplies: treat malfunctions or alert with the necessary reactivity by following the standard escalation process, ensuring constant communication with the factory customer.

Education & Experience: What We Are Looking For…

o A higher technical degree in Supply Chain.

o Good level of English (B2 as a minimum is required). French language is valuable.

o Certifications in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain management.

o Relevant experience in transportation management or a related field (min 1 year).

o Knowledge of supply chain processes.

o Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS/SAP) is desirable.

o Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of transporting goods in the industry (automotive is valuable).

o Knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance standards, and international shipping requirements is essential.

o Knowledge of relevant software and tools.
