What you will do
- Organize and coordinate purchasing activities: Functionally steer buyers and ensure the correct execution of purchasing strategies.
- Contribute to the definition and application of the strategy: Manage supplier panels, analyze risks and trends, and conduct outsourcing studies.
- Negotiate and execute contracts: Ensure the progress of negotiations, supplier appointments, and contract compliance.
- Support and develop buyers: Guide and support buyers in their negotiations and daily activities, promoting their professional development.
- Participate in HR cycles: Define objectives, review contributions, conduct talent evaluations, and define training plans.
- Represent the purchasing department: Act as a representative in front of suppliers and validate supplier appointments.
- Improve the purchasing business line: Participate in work groups and cross-functional projects, proposing improvements in tools, processes, and operations.
What we are looking for
- Professional English Proficiency: Strong command of professional English for effective communication.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of purchasing cycles, supplier management, and project management.
- Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze purchasing data and generate detailed reports.
- ERP Management: Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced Negotiation: Expertise in advanced negotiation techniques and contract management.
- Risk Management: Skills in identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with international purchasing and trade regulations and standards.
- Personal Attributes: Strong influencing and negotiation skills, cross-functional leadership, synthesis, and presentation abilities.
